UpscaleIMG turns small, blurry, or low-resolution images into larger, sharper ones using AI. Our goal is simple: give everyone a way to rescue a photo that's too small to use — a product shot, an old family picture, a logo — without expensive software or a steep learning curve.
UpscaleIMG was built by Artur Meinzer, an independent developer. It started with a single frustrating image: a small photo that looked fine on a phone but fell apart the moment it needed to be bigger.
The usual options weren't great. Desktop editors meant learning tools and paying for a license. Many online upscalers were slow, plastered the result with a watermark, or asked you to subscribe before you could even see how it looked. He wanted to take a small image, run real AI upscaling on it, and get a clean, larger version back — quickly, and without strings.
So he built UpscaleIMG. Upload an image, pick 2x or 4x, and the AI fills in detail to enlarge it while keeping edges sharp. Your file is processed and then deleted. No account is required to try it.
UpscaleIMG is built and maintained by Artur Meinzer, a solo developer who makes a small set of focused image tools. There's no big company here — just one person responsible for how it works and how it treats your images. Questions, feedback, or a tricky image that won't upscale?
